UHATO is a way to put a private contact path on the things you carry. A UHATO Smart Tag is a physical tag you attach. If someone finds the item, they scan it with a phone camera and can reach you — without your number being printed on the bag, the keys, or the laptop.
UHATO is a digital identity and connection platform that helps people connect physical belongings with their owners through privacy-controlled QR experiences. The QR is how they open that page. It is not the product by itself.
What happens when someone finds it

Why UHATO exists
A bag left in a café has no safe next step. Opening it feels wrong. A phone number on the strap is public. Walking away is easier.
Without a tag
The finder has no name, no private way to reach you, or a number anyone can copy. Most found items stay lost because contact is awkward or unsafe.
With a Smart Tag
They scan the tag. They reach a page you control. They can notify you. Your personal number stays off the bag. Same idea for keys, luggage, a laptop sleeve, or a pet collar.
Why not print your phone number?
A number on a bag is public the moment it is written. Anyone who sees it can call, message, or misuse it. You cannot switch it off. You cannot see who tried.
UHATO keeps the number off the sticker. The finder opens a page you control. You can be notified without handing your number to whoever picked up the item.
Is UHATO a tracker?
No. UHATO is not GPS, not live tracking, and not an AirTag. Trackers answer “where is it?” UHATO answers “how does a person who found it reach me — privately?”
There is no battery in the Smart Tag. The finder does not need an app. Connection happens when someone scans. Location is never tracked in the background. If a flow asks for location, it is optional and only with permission in that moment.

What happens after the first year?
The physical tag is yours. The first year of UHATO digital service — the scan page and owner notifications — is included with the Smart Tag purchase. It is not charged again at checkout.
From year 2, a subscription may apply so that page can stay active. That charge is not taken in this purchase. If it applies, you will see it in your account before anything renews. The sticker still identifies the belonging even if the live service changes; material changes are covered in the Terms.
Why you can trust the service
You choose what the scan page shows. Phone and extra details stay hidden unless you enable them. UHATO is not a public directory of owners. Misuse can be reported through Support.
